Merry Christmas to all on the Earth –
who celebrate, whatever color, wherever they live, regardless of age.
I wish to all the very best health, because it’s the most important component of all the things God gave to us.
We Muslims do not celebrate this great feast, but we honor one of the finest ambassadors of The Lord – Jesus – who spoke in the cradle, who has healed the sick, who opened the eyes of blinds. He did it out of pity, but from compassion, because as God‘s messenger was compassionate, experienced the pain of all. So let us now remember His work, and we can be involved; and this doesn’t require great effort to open our hearts.
Now I remeber a story told by our greatest actor Djoko Rosich: ‘We are always sustained by that – compassion – but in the age of globalization and technology we ought to become a little more compassionate, because by E-mail, by Internet we can’t send the tear, which presses hard’.
Let it be healthy and alive and happy for all.
Amen.
