Schools everywhere hope to be proud of their students; teachers everywhere long to be recognised for their qualified tutorship. In London, we at our school are privilged to be proud of both our students and teachers but we are also lucky to have yet another valid reason to be proud of: we take enormous pride in having a patron like Mr. Ivan Stancioff, our protector and benefactor, after whom we have been privileged to name the Bulgarian school at the Bulgarian Embassy in London.
On the link below you can read our Festive Message to him, sent with all our love for him and our appreciation of what he has done for our school throughout the years: https://1drv.ms/v/s!An9wlkBHAODmrkizXCB_3YXB3sC8
In the coming Christmas Season we were happy to receive his heart-warming answer:
A true gentleman with a noble heart, a patriot, a benefactor and a supporter, we feel he is always with us. This is an enormous honour that encourages us always to do our duty.
So, at the Christmas ball at the Bulgarian Embassy we celebrated not only the coming Festive Season but also our preparedness to help others. We gathered donations for children with special needs iin Karin dom in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna (see link).
while the youngest students from Azbukarche, the school ABC association prepared decorations in the traditional Bulgarian way, to meet Santa. Of course, all children received gifts, for they had willingly joined the do-gooders group (see link).
Happy to have done our best, we look forward to reporting to Santa that we have worked hard and have deserved everybody‘s approval. We now say GOOD BYE to 2018 and meet 2019 confident in a future which will be even brighter and happier.
To all our friends and supporters, and to all children, parents and teachers all over the world we wish peace, health, happiness and success. Let it be! Let us be!
