I would like to invite you to what looks will be a second sold out concert of my duo with Russian cellist Ian Maksin at Chopin Theatre main stage this season. This time the program„Tango+“ includes some of the greatest hits of Astor Piazzolla, as well as the world premiere of „Ghost Tango“, a new piece by Chicago-based composer and professor of composition at Columbia College Ilya Levinson. In this unique event we will collaborate with Chicago legendary tango dancer Jorge Niedas and members of his company Tango 21.
Tickets are selling fast! The online $20 sale ends Wednesday night and I can’t encourage you enough to get your ticket on line. Tickets at the door are $25 and it does not look like there will be too many. If you or any of your friends are planning to attend and have not purchased tickets, please do so right away. I will be really very sad to see friends turned away at the door!
